Caydon’s Laneways is inspired by Melbourne Laneways’ iconic form and function, utilizing international design concepts to help breakdown the large scale city block. Fitzroy Residences stands at 32 stories, housing a total of 191 condominiums, a Kimpton hotel and distinctly designed amenity and retail spaces. The exterior’s façade is an ode to Australian architecture, featuring waves of curvy slabs, while urban contemporary interiors are paired with lively midtown flair for both Houstonians and Kimpton guests to relish in. The Preston Partnership’s role is Architect of Record and Interior Design of Record, working alongside the client’s international in-house design team to help make this dynamic mixed-use Midtown Houston Laneways vision a reality.
