Adam Parrish, AIA
Adam received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. He has considerable experience in mixed use, multifamily housing and retail. Leveraging technical and managerial skills, his attention to detail ensures that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. He solves complex design issues while coupling technical skill with a passion for design. As a firm Principal, he promotes collaborative work environments among project teams to produce award winning projects. He is licensed in Colorado, New York, Georgia, Florida and Texas.
Director of Marketing and Interior Designer
Alex is passionate about all things design. She relishes in the creative collaborative process, working alongside clients and team members to not only craft a vision for their project, but to also manage the design details into production. She has been working in residential and multifamily interior design for over a decade. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Maryland, while living overseas as a military spouse in Germany and Guam. In her spare time, you can find her tending to her French provincial-inspired garden alongside her husband and three children.
Senior Project Coordinator
Alex graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a Masters in Architecture. He has experience in projects across a variety of market sectors, including multifamily and single-family residential, hospitality, commercial, and institutional. Prior to studying architecture, he received a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting from the University of Rhode Island and still enjoys drawing and painting in his free time. He also enjoys biking/hiking, taking on DIY house projects, and spending time with his wife, daughter and their three dogs.
Andrew Butler, AIA
Born in Atlanta, GA and raised as an Air Force brat, Andrew returned to Atlanta as a college student to study architecture at Southern Polytechnic State University. He spent his summers working in construction, learning a great deal, while working for a builder as a framer and as an intern for a general contractor. He is passionate about making sure details are right, and that they not only work from a technical standpoint but also stay true to the design intent. He is a husband and father to four children. When he finds the time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
Chief Financial Officer
Andy grew up in a small town in England, UK. He has a degree in Accounting and Business Finance from Alton College. He has worked in various accounting roles through a variety of industries, including computer compressors and motor cycle sales, and now in architecture. He moved across the pond in 2000 and has been Preston’s CFO for the past 18 years. When he’s not crunching numbers, Andy enjoys playing golf, watching soccer, and socializing with friends and family.
Bim moved from Thailand to the U.S. in 2005 in pursuit of the American Dream. He graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a Masters of Architecture in 2017, and was a recipient of AIA Henry Adams Certificate of Merit and AIA Savannah Chapter Thesis Honor Award for his thesis work at SCAD. With a strong background in 3D modeling, rendering, arts, and design, Bim is interested in exploring creative use of digital practice tools to enhance innovative building design. He is currently pursuing his license. Aside from architecture, he enjoys arts, robotics, and outdoor activities.
Bob Preston, AIA, RIBA, LEED AP BD+C
Principal & Vision Keeper
Bob received a Bachelor of Architecture from Plymouth University in England. He is a registered architect in 10 States, including California. At this point in his career, he still enjoys being involved in all project phases, from running the business to sketching to technical review. Today, you can find him working in studio among all levels of staff. He believes that designing a good-looking building is equally as important as meeting the budget or answering a contractor’s question during construction.
Brandon Johnson, AIA
Design Architect & Associate
Brandon Johnson received his Master’s in Architecture from Texas A&M University. He has diverse experience across mixed-use, multi-family, retail and corporate interiors. His purpose as an architect is driving environments to express and heighten a story of how we experience lifestyle and as a firm Associate, he drives efforts as part of leadership for design visioning & process. Brandon is a member of the AIA and is licensed in Texas.
Catherine De La Rosa
Catherine obtained her Bachelors in Architecture in the Dominican Republic, and her Masters in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. She leverages her expertise in both industries to maintain strong documentation and visualizations. She strives to design inspiring and uplifting interiors that foster connection and ownership through history and culture. In her free time, she loves to paint, read, cook and dance.
Chey Sheafe AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Senior Project Architect
Chey has more than 20 years of experience in architecture, with a background in multifamily housing, student housing, hospitality, municipal buildings, and historic structures. He has a Masters in architecture from the University of Virginia and a Bachelors in architecture from the University of New Mexico. He is registered in Virginia and North Carolina, and has experience with managing LEED projects.

Senior Project Coordinator
Coleman was born and raised in Newnan, Georgia. He is proud of his eight-generation Georgian heritage, but he enjoys experiencing foreign cultures. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Though his greatest passion is architecture, he has a diverse set of other passions. His hobbies include classical piano and voice, speaking Italian, photography, oil painting, clay sculpture and travel. Coleman and his husband, a Chinese citizen, met in Shanghai and live in the Atlanta area.
Dan Piper, AIA, CSI
Dan has more than 30 years of experience in the field of architecture, including project management, owners representation and professional consulting in construction, risk management, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control matters. He has a Masters in Architecture from the University of Nebraska. He is registered in Virginia, Maryland, DC and Florida. At Preston, Dan provides insight and guidance during the construction phase for many projects. Dan enjoys spending time outside, and playing with his grandkids.
Dennis Galindo, AIA
Born in Honduras, Dennis and his family migrated to New Orleans in the mid sixties. He graduated from Tulane University and joined Preston in 1996, making him the 13th employee hired. As a principal of design, he is responsible for density and viability studies. He helps clients envision the possibilities. He likes “girly drinks with umbrellas”, creole cuisine, and spending quality time with his wife and three children.
Edsel J. Arnold, AIA
Born into a Southern family devoted to hunting, fishing, and sports, Edsel was the eccentric devoted to art, history, and books. His passion for beautiful lines in art, sculpture, architecture, and music led to a general interest in design, which he explored at Georgia Tech. He has a Masters in Architecture in Design and Preservation. With 30+ years of experience, he has developed a keen visual sense which he employs while shepherding project design.
Elijah is pursuing his Bachelors of Architecture at Kennesaw State University. As an upcoming 5th year, he is an active member in AIAS serving on the executive board as the Secretary. Always having an interest in creative design and the construction process, he knew architecture was the way to go. Elijah aspires to travel the globe to experience different architectural styles. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, drawing and hiking.
Emerald received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Georgia Tech. After graduation, she worked for an Urban Design and Architecture firm specializing in urban design and planning. She went back to Georgia Tech to pursue her Master of Architecture degree and graduated in 2019. During her time at Georgia Tech, she won the 2014 National NOMAS competition and was runner up in the 2018 Portman Prize Competition.
Eve Stritch, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Eve came to the U.S. on a John Parkinson Scholarship from Chengdu, China to attend the Master’s Program of Architecture at the University of Southern California. In 2005, she graduated with the Best Design of the Year. She has been a licensed architect in California since 2011 and has been practicing architecture for 18 years. Eve’s specialty is in multifamily, mixed use, commercial retail, student housing, and commercial office. She is passionate about problem solving and space making for the urban environment. She finds that there is always something new to learn in the industry.
Jim Fredrickson, AIA
Jim received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from New York Institute of Technology. After visiting San Diego and Atlanta, he settled on Atlanta as the place to launch his career in architecture. Shortly after, he met and fell in love with his wife, Elise, while working at his first firm. They have two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Kate. He strongly believes that no man is better than the group – one man’s success is the company’s success. In his spare time, you can find him fly fishing.
Ji Soo Park
Ji Soo has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. She believes that the ultimate goal for both architects and landscape architects is to provide a seamless flow of design and spaces that integrates both aesthetics and functionality. She believes that each space should have a unique sense of authenticity. She hopes to create spaces that provide an emotive human experience by bringing high quality and immersive landscape designs to architecture. She loves exploring with a camera, gathering inspiration for new designs.
Julieta Dorame, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Julieta grew up in northern Mexico where she received her bachelor in Architecture in 2001. In 2004, she moved to Arizona seeking opportunities to develop her passion for Design and Architecture. She enjoys all aspects of the Architectural process and loves finding solutions to complex problems. She has broad experience in Student Housing, Multifamily, Mixed-Use and Higher-Education. Julieta enjoyed the beautiful sunsets at the Sonoran Desert her entire life, until 2019 when she moved with her family to Georgia. She now enjoys discovering the always changing stunning Georgian landscape.
Senior Project Coordinator
In his nearly 10 years of studying and practicing architecture, Lucas finds he is inspired by the psychology of design and the building science of construction. He believes the experience of architecture we wish to design and embody is achieved through keen observation of our surroundings, analysis of human behavior patterns, and the precision to detail and material at the early stages of design. “Our built environments can enhance our way of living and state of mind.”
Matt is an architecture student at Kennesaw State University. In High School, he took part in the four year drafting and design program that nurtured his love for design. In college, he has been selected for exhibition every semester. Recently, he was accepted into his college’s 4th year professional program. He is eager to enhance his skills and knowledge over the next two years, and looks forward to what the future holds. Also, Matt was born in New York, so naturally he is a huge NY Giants fan.
Senior Project Coordinator
Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Clemson University. During her time at Clemson she participated in the school’s Fluid Campus in Barcelona, Spain for a semester. Meredith attended Florida International University for her Master of Architecture degree. Although she is originally from Charleston, SC, she decided to move to Atlanta, GA to purse her career in architecture with Preston.
Mylene Garcia graduated in 2017 with a Masters in Architecture from Florida International University in Miami, FL. Born into a family of engineers and contractors, architecture felt like a natural career path. Despite long studio nights, she has never once questioned her love for design. Mylene feels a sense of balance between the right and left side of the brain, and firmly believes that architecture allows her to simultaneously employ her critical and creative skills daily.
Sean has over 25 years of experience with a wide variety of project types including mixed use, multifamily, commercial, federal, religious, and municipal, with mixed use and multifamily being his specialty. His extensive knowledge of code issues, construction types, and planning combined with an attention to detail and organization results in projects that are delivered on time and budget. Sean received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Catholic University of America.
Sue has been with the firm for more than 20 years. She is vital to the firm’s success. As the firm’s accountant, she is responsible for all accounting functions, Including: sales tax, property tax, business license, human resources and employee benefits. She grew up in Upstate New York, in the city of Schenectady, eventually moving to Atlanta to escape the winters. Her passions include travel, sports, paint ball, zip lining, games, and just about anything fun.
From a young age, Tami loved anything artistic, including design, so it isn’t surprising that she would want to work in a profession that blends architecture and interior design. Her background is in the administrative/office manager role. She grew up in Akron, OH, but became enamored by the beauty of the landscape, the strong southern charm of the people, and the strength of the architecture of Atlanta. At Preston, she is responsible for maintaining office operations.
Ying Wang, AIA
Ying holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Tsinghua University and a master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is originally from Beijing, China. Ying believes that a functional and aesthetically pleasing building should blend harmoniously with its environment. She continuously strives to broaden her knowledge in every aspect of architectural practice. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring history and gardening.
