Adam Parrish, AIA
Adam received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. He has considerable experience in mixed use, multifamily housing, and retail. Leveraging technical and managerial skills, his attention to detail ensures that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. He solves complex design issues while coupling technical skill with a passion for design. As a firm Principal, he promotes collaborative work environments among project teams to produce award winning projects. Adam is licensed in New York, Georgia, Florida, and Texas.
Director of Marketing
Alex is passionate about creating visuals that capture the essence of a collaborative effort. She is all about design and the creative process, working alongside clients and team members to craft a vision for their projects. Shortly after college, she jumped at the opportunity to explore life abroad as a young Air Force military spouse. She lived overseas for six years in Germany and Guam, while completing her Bachelors of Arts in Communications at UMUC. In her spare time, you can find her with her husband and two children, attending their various sporting events, gardening, and drawing.
Andrew Butler, AIA
Born in Atlanta, GA and raised as an Air Force brat, Andrew returned to Atlanta as a college student to study architecture at Southern Polytechnic State University. He spent his summers working in construction, learning a great deal, while working for a builder as a framer and as an intern for a general contractor. He is passionate about making sure details are right, and that they not only work from a technical standpoint but also stay true to the design intent. He is a husband and father to four children. When he finds the time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
Chief Financial Officer
Andy grew up in a small town in England, UK. He has a degree in Accounting and Business Finance from Alton College. He has worked in various accounting roles through a variety of industries, including computer compressors and motor cycle sales, and now in architecture. He moved across the pond in 2000 and has been Preston’s CFO for the past 18 years. When he’s not crunching numbers, Andy enjoys playing golf, watching soccer, and socializing with friends and family.
Angelia C. Miller
Angelia started her career with a position in high-performance plastics selling for General Electric, later working for Columbia Broadcasting Systems (CBS) in their Atlanta-based Outdoor Media Division. She discovered her true calling as an interior designer after a commercial interior designer asked for help restructuring her company. For the past 15 year, she has garnered extensive experience working on commercial office spaces, student housing and multifamily.
Chief Information Officer
Bill started with Preston in 2015. He graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, where he met his wife Amanda. After spending some time in the hospitality industry, he traveled the U.S. installing, programming, and training restaurant point of sale systems. Bill enjoys vacationing with his wife and two girls. His family is passionate about robotics.
Bim moved from Thailand to the U.S. in 2005 in pursuit of the American Dream. He graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a Masters of Architecture in 2017, and was a recipient of AIA Henry Adams Certificate of Merit and AIA Savannah Chapter Thesis Honor Award for his thesis work at SCAD. With a strong background in 3D modeling, rendering, arts, and design, Bim is interested in exploring creative use of digital practice tools to enhance innovative building design. He is currently pursuing his license. Aside from architecture, he enjoys arts, robotics, and outdoor activities.
Bob Preston, AIA, RIBA, LEED AP BD+C
Principal & Vision Keeper
Bob received a Bachelor of Architecture from Plymouth University in England. He is a registered architect in 10 States, including California. At this point in his career, he still enjoys being involved in all project phases, from running the business to sketching to technical review. Today, you can find him working in studio among all levels of staff. He believes that designing a good-looking building is equally as important as meeting the budget or answering a contractor’s question during construction.
Colin received his Bachelor of Art in Architecture with a Minor in Fine Art from Clemson University in 2018. While at Clemson, he spent a semester studying abroad in Genova, Italy. During his last semester at Clemson, his comprehensive studio project was unanimously selected as the top project out of sixty and was awarded the 2018 AIA Columbia Student Honor Award as well as the 2018 AIA Columbia Student Design Excellence Award.
Dan Piper, AIA, CSI
Dan has more than 30 years of experience in the field of architecture, including project management, owners representation and professional consulting in construction, risk management, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control matters. He has a Masters in Architecture from the University of Nebraska. He is registered in Virginia, Maryland, DC and Florida. At Preston, Dan provides insight and guidance during the construction phase for many projects. Dan enjoys spending time outside, and playing with his grandkids.
Dennis Galindo, AIA
Born in Honduras, Dennis and his family migrated to New Orleans in the mid sixties. He graduated from Tulane University and joined Preston in 1996, making him the 13th employee hired. As a principal of design, he is responsible for density and viability studies. He helps clients envision the possibilities. He likes “girly drinks with umbrellas”, creole cuisine, and spending quality time with his wife and three children.
Edsel J. Arnold, AIA
Born into a Southern family devoted to hunting, fishing, and sports, Edsel was the eccentric devoted to art, history, and books. His passion for beautiful lines in art, sculpture, architecture, and music led to a general interest in design, which he explored at Georgia Tech. He has a Masters in Architecture in Design and Preservation. With 30+ years of experience, he has developed a keen visual sense which he employs while shepherding project design.
Eve Stritch, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Eve came to the U.S. on a John Parkinson Scholarship from Chengdu, China to attend the Master’s Program of Architecture at the University of Southern California. In 2005, she graduated with the Best Design of the Year. She has been a licensed architect in California since 2011 and has been practicing architecture for 18 years. Eve’s specialty is in multifamily, mixed use, commercial retail, student housing, and commercial office. She is passionate about problem solving and space making for the urban environment. She finds that there is always something new to learn in the industry.
Ji Soo Park
Ji Soo has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. She believes that the ultimate goal for both architects and landscape architects is to provide a seamless flow of design and spaces that integrates both aesthetics and functionality. She believes that each space should have a unique sense of authenticity. She hopes to create spaces that provide an emotive human experience by bringing high quality and immersive landscape designs to architecture. She loves exploring with a camera, gathering inspiration for new designs.
Jim Fredrickson, AIA
Jim received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from New York Institute of Technology. After visiting San Diego and Atlanta, he settled on Atlanta as the place to launch his career in architecture. Shortly after, he met and fell in love with his wife, Elise, while working at his first firm. They have two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Kate. He strongly believes that no man is better than the group – one man’s success is the company’s success. In his spare time, you can find him fly fishing.
Senior Construction Manager
Jon Mallard has an extensive background in Construction Administration and works alongside project teams during projects in construction. Jon’s expertise centers on implementing Construction Documents through decisive action and quality control. His skills include risk management, loss prevention, and proactive leadership. Jon has a great deal of experience in hospitality, working in Construction Administration for nationally recognized hotel chains.

Interiors Project Manager
Joscelin graduated from The American InterContinental University with a Bachelor of Interior Design and received a Diploma of Residential Planning from The Art Institute. She has considerable experience working in multi-family senior living projects, with several award winning projects in her portfolio. She leverages strong technical skills and finance industry experience on all aspects of design, ensuring projects are within budget and to the client’s standards.
With a mom as an interior designer, Interior Design and the Arts has always been a part Karen’s life. She could not get enough of the colors, the planning, and the creativity. By a young age, she realized what she wanted to do. While in school she worked in the hospitality industry, and learned about coordinating events and managing high stress level situations. At Preston, she creates project renderings, maintains production documents and manages FF&E procurement. She hopes to one day open her own hospitality design firm.
Mel Tertichny, AIA
Mel is a licensed project architect with a penchant for travel. After graduating Georgia Tech twice, she worked at a company that specialized in automotive and commercial environments. At Preston, she designs and coordinates projects from conception to completion, working with clients, engineers, and contractors to bring drawings to life. She enjoys finding new paths to explore, whether it’s more efficient processes in office or experiences abroad.
Senior Project Coordinator
Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Clemson University. During her time at Clemson she participated in the school’s Fluid Campus in Barcelona, Spain for a semester. Meredith attended Florida International University for her Master of Architecture degree. Although she is originally from Charleston, SC, she decided to move to Atlanta, GA to purse her career in architecture with Preston.
Sue has been with the firm for more than 20 years. She is vital to the firm’s success. As the firm’s accountant, she is responsible for all accounting functions, Including: sales tax, property tax, business license, human resources and employee benefits. She grew up in Upstate New York, in the city of Schenectady, eventually moving to Atlanta to escape the winters. Her passions include travel, sports, paint ball, zip lining, games, and just about anything fun.
The Gate Keeper
Before landing here, Suzanne was a project manager and director for Educational Concepts Group, LLC. At Preston, we lovingly call her “The Gate Keeper.” She works diligently alongside Bob and helps the office operate smoothly. She has three children. In her free time, she travels to sports and activities for the kids. She’s an Auburn grad and loves to watch SEC football when she can find the time.
From a young age, Tami loved anything artistic, including design, so it isn’t surprising that she would want to work in a profession that blends architecture and interior design. Her background is in the administrative/office manager role. She grew up in Akron, OH, but became enamored by the beauty of the landscape, the strong southern charm of the people, and the strength of the architecture of Atlanta. At Preston, she is responsible for maintaining office operations.
Tim Williamson, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Tim received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Auburn University. He started his career working at small and large architecture firms on retail, high-rise offices, hotels, and condos. He joined Preston in 2004, running the high-rise studio. He later joined a small LEED consulting firm to become more involved in sustainable design, which allowed him to help teams earn LEED certifications, as well as reviewing LEED projects. Today, Tim still manages the high-rise studio and helps maintain Preston’s high technical standards.
Ying Wang, AIA
Ying holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Tsinghua University and a master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is originally from Beijing, China. Ying believes that a functional and aesthetically pleasing building should blend harmoniously with its environment. She continuously strives to broaden her knowledge in every aspect of architectural practice. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring history and gardening.

Anthony is currently in his 4th year of architecture at Kennesaw State University. He hopes to become an architectural theorist and teacher one day. He is a first generation Chinese American and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He firmly believes that if he aspires to do his best then he can help push human society a little further.

Matt is an architecture student at Kennesaw State University. In High School, he took part in the four year drafting and design program that nurtured his love for design. In college, he has been selected for exhibition every semester. Recently, he was accepted into his college’s 3rd year professional program. He is eager to enhance his skills and knowledge over the next three years, and looks forward to what the future holds. Also, Matt was born in New York, so naturally he is a huge NY Giants fan.
Project Coordinator – Intern
Born and raised in a small GA town, Seth grew up with a love of the outdoors. His father is a carpenter by trade, which introduced him to the construction process at a young age. Ever since, he has been fascinated by the way we design and construct built environments. He is currently studying Architecture at Southern Polytechnic State University (Kennesaw State University) and is in his fourth year. Aside from architecture, soccer and music are his passions.
Project Coordinator – Intern
After taking his first architecture class in high school, he was hooked and made all of his electives architecture and drafting related. Shortly after graduating high school, he joined the Marines as a Combat Engineer. He deployed twice, and ultimately sustained a deployment-ending injury. He decided to pursue his formal education at Southern Polytechnic State University. He is currently in his fourth year, and is the president of an Alpha Rho Chi chapter.
