PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This 271 unit, 799 bed development was master planned to incorporate features of new urbanism development and to act as a transition from the adjacent main campus to the surrounding neighborhoods of Coral Gables. This project consists of 7 buildings ranging in height from 2 to 4 stories. Variation in building height provides a varied scale that relates seamlessly to the adjoining property uses and buildings. Other amenities include a student support center with leasing office, study room, computer room, and mail room, as well as a convenience store. Public parks, private courtyards, walking trails, and other semi-public spaces are found throughout the project and help to connect pedestrian traffic to all the facilities both within the project and on campus. Parking is incorporated for 855 spaces in 2 precast concrete decks, one of which is 5 levels and the second is 3 levels.
