Student Housing • The Residences @ 1456 E. Summit St.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Residences @ 1456 E. Summit is a student housing project located centrally among the campus of Kent State University. The five-story development is adjacent to an existing Presbyterian church and is comprised of 126 units with 384 beds and partially covered parking. Students will come home to about 3,300 square feet of gaming and amenity spaces, including an outdoor study, movie-viewing courtyard and pool/spa facilities, to relax and unwind after a busy day on campus. The project is designed with modern architectural styles and clean lines in mind that revive the existing landscape surrounding the site.

“For many years, we have considered The Preston Partnership one of our preferred design professionals, from the accuracy of their planning and preliminary density studies, through design document production, to coordination with the Owner and Contractor team during construction.  We always look to find more business to do with Preston’s team given our long-standing relationship….we see them as a partner in every project, not just a third party consultant.”
