Fairfax Gateway is a suburban mixed use project located within the Kamp Washington District, between routes 29 & 50. It consists of six buildings, five of which feature a mixed-use component, interconnected by pedestrian bridges, which provide mobility throughout the project. With a total of 403 units, the apartment buildings consist of a combination of III-A and V-A building types. 906 parking spots are provided via street and structured parking, the majority of which is located within a central, seven-and- a-half story precast parking garage. The 29,000 SF of retail space will be broken down into a mix of restaurant and shops, along with 4,000 square feet of office space being donated to CASA, a non-profit organization. One of the unique features of the project includes the re-envisioning and preservation of the Jermantown Cemetery.

“I have said many times that you should always hire architectural firms that have the kind of expertise and experience needed for the development you are attempting to build.  The Preston Partnership is one of those firms that I have had the distinct pleasure of working with on many, many developments.  Experienced, professional, willing and capable to take on any challenge.”
