PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Caplewood Terrace is a 50 unit, 150 bed student housing development located in Tuscaloosa near the University of Alabama. The project sits on 5.5 wooded acres, 1.9 of which have been preserved as natural green space to insure privacy for the surrounding community and create a peaceful getaway for students after returning home from the lively campus. Contemporary architecture is paired with a materials palette of muted stone, cedar wood accents, stucco over concrete and fiber cement paneling. A state of the art fitness center and club room overlook vast green space to the North while providing direct access to the courtyard and pool deck to the South, connecting residents with the outdoors. Additional amenities include private tanning, outdoor kitchen, lounge, and hammock oasis. The 3-story, wood-frame project sits over 2 levels of cast-in-place open parking, providing space for 164 vehicles.
